Adrian Singh

Clinical Development Manager / Podiatrist (Camp Hill)

Adrian graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor or Health Science (Podiatry) and originally spent 3 years working for myFootDr Podiatry Centres as a private practitioner.


After practising in Brisbane, Adrian relocated to Far North Queensland and commenced employment with the Far North Queensland Rural Division of General Practice as a Podiatrist for the Improved Primary Health Care Initiative. This role incorporated working in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities providing clinical and preventative strategies to reduce serious complications.


In 2009, Adrian completed a submission advocating for better training of rural and remote Nurses and Indigenous health workers in the Cairns and Hinterland district. He was awarded the funding for the program. Adrian was active in speaking at various Rural and Remote Doctors' Dinners and Practice Network Meetings and Rural and Remote workshops and he was invited to be a guest speaker at the 2010 Australian Diabetes Educator Queensland State Conference. He has also been part of local media programs in the region, advocating for services and community awareness around Diabetic foot health.


Adrian progressed to Primary Care Service Manager with the Far North Queensland Rural Division of General Practice. He was the line manager for up to 30 staff including Allied Health Practitioners, Psychologists, Team Leaders, Administration Staff, and Indigenous health workers.


Adrian has returned to my FootDr as Clinical Development Manager. His role is to educate the General Practice world in Podiatry practices as well as to collaborate with non-government agencies to facilitate wider accessibility of Podiatry services to the greater community. Adrian is currently creating links with Medicare Local Groups to continue developing education sessions to reduce Diabetic foot complications.


Adrian has is also entered into Masters Research into the social determinants and links to Diabetic Foot complications with Queensland University of Technology.
