Meet the Team

Dan Holmes
Supervising Podiatrist (Redcliffe)
Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) M.A.Pod.A (Qld), BScApp (HMS) (Hons)
Dan joined the team of Podiatrists at my FootDr in 2009. His
time was initially spent caring for patients at the Camp Hill and
Shailer Park Centres. In January 2011 Dan took on the challenge of
developing the Redcliffe branch of my FootDr which is located at
the Redcliffe Dolphins Health Precinct.
He graduated with first class honors from Queensland University
Technology in 2007. Prior to studying podiatry, Dan completed an
Exercise Science degree through the school of Human Movement
studies at the University of Queensland giving him an extensive
knowledge of the human body and how movement and exercise can lead
to pain and overuse injuries.
Dan is an active member the Australian Podiatry Association (Qld)
and the Sports Podiatry Queensland Group attending meetings and
conferences regularly. He enjoys staying up to date with advances
in research so that he can provide the latest treatment options to
his patients.
He has a passion for all aspects of podiatry, especially in the
prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal overuse injuries in the
general population. He particularly enjoys keeping his patients
active and able to participate in their particular sport or
exercise.
Dan enjoys being active. He enjoys training for and participating
in Triathlon. Away from work he has an interest in amateur
photography, fishing and social touch football.
