Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry)

Shelley joined the team at my FootDr podiatry centres in 2011. After graduating from Auckland University of Technology, she operated her own podiatry business in New Zealand for three years. Shelley was a member of Podiatry NZ, attended regular meetings, seminars and was an education officer in 2009.

Shelley appreciates the variety podiatry has to offer; her main interest is in diabetic and arthritic foot care and managing the complex complication that can occur. She is focused on keeping herself informed in all aspects, and is passionate about educating her patients to ensure better outcomes. Providing relief to patients from the many and varied foot conditions is the thing that she finds most rewarding. Shelley is keen to further expand her education and clinical development in the biomechanical and surgical fields of podiatry.

Socially, Shelley enjoys ballroom, latin and salsa dancing. Has a passion for volleyball, representing Waikato for several years. Shelley loves to travel, recently experiencing a campervan Winter adventure in the Canadian Rockies
