Meet the Team

Orthotic Lab Manager (Camp Hill)

Thorsten grew up in Oberkirch, a town in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. Following school he completed a 3 ½ year apprenticeship, which covered the design and production of custom built, medical-grade footwear and corrective innersoles. His career was briefly interrupted, as Civil Service called him for duty.

Following this, he engaged in the production of custom-made footwear with one of Germany's leading companies, Trautmann and gained expert experience in the 10 years of his career with this company. Representatives of Orthema introduced Thorsten to the my FootDr team whilst they were visiting Germany and before he knew it, Thorsten found himself based in Brisbane with Queensland's leading Podiatrists!

Thorstens future plans include making Australia home for himself with his wife, owning a house, having children and to complete a happy family, enjoying the company of his favorite dogs, Australian Shepherds. He also enjoys Martial Art Sports, in particular Wing Tsun.
