When my family immigrated here from Poland, I had no idea how lucky I was to land in Australia for both its education opportunities but also to pursue a career in healthcare. I decided this early on, as I wanted to help people become better stewards of their bodies. After pursuing my studies in Podiatry, I was lucky enough to be mentored by some of Australia’s leading Sports podiatrists, APA Sports Titled and Institute of Sports (NSWIS) Physiotherapists and chiropractors. They instilled in me empathy, passion and dedication which I have integrated into all practices I have worked for and led since my university days.

I opened my first Podiatry clinic in 2005, employing 4 part time podiatrists and 3 part time administration staff for over 15 years. As a Co-Director, I built a multi-award winning General Podiatry practice, which I still run today – Eastwood Podiatry Clinic. In 2006 I was approached by a Sports Lab Clinic to develop their Podiatry program which I directed for 15 years within a Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy allied health clinic. In 2010 as a long standing member of the Australian Podiatry Association, I was elected by my peers to the position of Junior Vice President.
In 2013 I had the privilege of being appointed as an “Ambassador” of the Australasian Conference by the Podiatry Council in Sydney.

I have enjoyed being a member for associations like Sports Medicine Australia and the Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. I even volunteer my time to help young future leaders. For example in 2018 I completed a 2 week Kokoda trail with young men selected by Penrith Panthers community program – Panthers on the Prowl for which we trained for 6 months. It was a rewarding experience I can never forget. I also performed mock job interviews at Bankstown Sr College for refugees and asylum seekers whose aim is to find work in Australia.

I am so happy to have found my career-passion as a sports practitioner focused on best practice for the everyday and elite athletes, while closely working with a holistic multidisciplinary approach.
