Mahamed Aden hails from the land down under. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand. He graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Podiatry from Auckland University of Technology.

Mahamed has always been heavily involved in sports playing football from young age hence he is no stranger to injuries. In fact, it is these same injuries that originally sparked Mahamed interest in podiatry.

Since graduating Mahamed has worked in both the private and public health sectors. He has vast knowledge of all aspects of podiatry. Very early in his career, Mahamed had the fortune of dealing with a variety of long-term conditions. It is this experience that has led to his interest in conditions that reduces a patient’s quality of life such as diabetic foot, arthritis or foot deformities. He believes that with a good management procedure he can help improve his patient’s quality of life. During his time at university, Mahamed worked in the sporting footwear industry and has over 4 years of experience. He is an expert in footwear selection and fitting.

In his spare time, Mahamed still loves to keep fit. He is a member of the local gym and enjoys the outdoors. Family is also a very important and big part of his life. He comes from a big family a spends most of his downtime with them.
