Having graduated in 1994, Dr Aaron Bryce commenced his podiatry career in Traralgon after relocating from Melbourne and now brings more than 30 years of extensive clinical experience to the Gippsland community.
As the founder and principal podiatrist of The Foot and Ankle Clinic in Traralgon, Dr Bryce has developed the practice into a leading regional centre for comprehensive foot and ankle care. He also consults from MyFootDr in Warragul, enabling him to deliver specialised podiatric services across multiple Gippsland locations.
Dr Bryce is widely recognised for his ability to manage complex and challenging clinical cases, drawing on decades of experience to develop thorough, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. His clinical expertise spans complex biomechanical and gait disorders, sports and overuse injuries, paediatric foot conditions, diabetic and high-risk foot care, skin and nail pathology, and chronic foot and ankle pain.
He is highly skilled in both conservative and surgical podiatric procedures, including the surgical management of ingrown toenails and advanced treatment of plantar warts. Dr Bryce also offers modern conservative options such as Bracenfix, and utilises leading-edge technologies including Swift® microwave therapy for wart treatment and laser therapy for fungal nail infections.
With advanced clinical training in Able Motion, Dr Bryce is qualified in specialist footwear customisation and the prescription of advanced orthotic and bracing solutions, including Richie Braces and other complex aids and equipment. He also incorporates Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) into his treatment protocols for conditions such as plantar heel pain, providing effective, evidence-based alternatives to surgery.
Dr Bryce’s vast experience also extends to working closely with major funding and referral bodies including NDIS, WorkCover, TAC, My Aged Care, and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. His familiarity with these organisations allows him to coordinate care efficiently, navigate funding requirements, and deliver optimal, outcome-focused treatment plans for patients with complex medical, functional, and mobility needs.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr Bryce has mentored and trained hundreds of podiatrists throughout his career and continues to gain great professional satisfaction from education and leadership. Most recently, he has had the privilege of mentoring his daughter, Stephanie, who now proudly works alongside him at The Foot and Ankle Clinic.
Dr Bryce lives locally in Gippsland with his family and remains an active and respected member of the community, committed to providing trusted, high-quality podiatric care and achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for patients of all ages.
