Jessica graduated from the University of South Australia with Honours, where her thesis investigated the effects of footwear and insoles on individuals with knee osteoarthritis. By partaking in this research, it taught her the need and importance of approaching all clinical decisions and treatments with an evidence-based approach.
Since finishing university, she has been invited to guest speak at numerous podiatry events, including the national podiatry conference. She has also undertaken courses to further improve her skills, such as dry needling and foot and ankle mobilisation. Her areas of interest include ingrown toenails, musculoskeletal pain, including and not limited to heel pain, achilles tendinitis and forefoot pain.
Outside of work, you can find Jess surrounding herself with friends at live gigs, going on roadtrips, or if time permits, travelling overseas- hopefully for her next snowboarding trip!

In 2017 we released our inaugural Healthy Feet Survey to help bridge the information gap on foot health through examining how Australians look after their feet and lift the lid on some of the fundamental awareness issues with podiatry as a health service.
Commissioned and published by Australia’s largest podiatry groups My FootDr and Balance Podiatry, the report reveals modern lifestyle demands and ignorance are two major factors impacting on foot health.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a national framework designed to support people living with disability and their families by ensuring they have access to the services they require.
My FootDr is a proud supporter of the NDIS and are an innovative provider of podiatry services to NDIS participants across Australia, pursuing national registration with registration currently in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA, pending state registration in NT, WA, TAS and ACT.

As we age, our bodies go through changes that can make it difficult to do a good job of caring for our feet. From natural body changes like thinning fat pads beneath our feet that make our bones more prominent, to being unable to reach our feet or see their undersides. This is one aspect of what our senior footcare services help with.
We also help with promoting your mobility, assisting with balance, improving your comfort on your feet, and treating any pains and problems so you can stay independent for as long as you want. From falls prevention to injury treatment our team is here to help you reach your goals.
