Ian graduated as a podiatrist from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane and began his podiatry career at a well established sports podiatry practice in Brisbane's inner city suburbs of Fortitude Valley and New Farm towards the end of 2004. Ian began working with my FootDr podiatry centres in December 2005 and has managed the Fortitude Valley Centre since 2006.

As part of Ian's management role, he is heavily involved in the selection of footwear for my FootDr Fortitude Valley's onsite specialty shoe store. This includes the latest in sporting shoes, as well as casual and formal footwear from market leading brands. His intimate knowledge of footwear builds on Ian's podiatry background to help him deliver the very best and practical outcomes for his patients' feet.

Ian enjoys a varied case load of podiatry services ranging from paediatrics, sports podiatry, wart and nail surgery and diabetic foot assessments. Ian prides himself on his warm and friendly manner with patients, and strives to ethically provide the most up to date services and information available. A new and exciting area for Ian has been Occupational Foot Care, and he has worked hard to build a strong network with a number of local and national companies.

Ian holds a number of professional memberships including The Australian Podiatry Association (Qld), and Sports Podiatry Queensland. He also enjoys contributing to the ongoing education of the profession, by supervising of final year podiatry students as part of the QUT Podiatry external placement program.

Socially, Ian enjoys golf and the outdoors.
