Sam joined my FootDr podiatry centres in 2011 as a lab technician before graduating with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology. This enabled Sam to gain exposure to numerous complex biomechanical cases. He has been involved in the prescription and manufacture of over 1,500 pairs of orthotics. This essential experience has helped him develop a keen interest in mechanical foot and lower limb injuries and musculoskeletal sport podiatry.
Sam has always wanted to work in the Allied Health field and welcomes the scope of practice podiatry has to offer. He is a firm believer in the education, early intervention, and prevention of complications associated with chronic disease (e.g diabetes and rheumatic diseases) encouraging a holistic approach to patient care.
Outside of work Sam enjoys staying fit and active as well as being a keen cricketer, currently playing in the Brisbane Grade Competition.
